I think it would be helpful to include a Detailed Checklist for some Achievements. (i.e., Dungeon Achievements would keep track what paths you have already done; not that you need so many left).

This of course would not work for explorable titles (would spoil the purpose of the achievement) like Been There Done That or Dive Master, etc.

Yes, yes, 1,000 time yes. I’ve been playing since Beta and frankly I don’t remember which paths I’ve been down in some dungeons, or which diving goggles I’ve already done, or frankly which hints I’m missing. I’ve love for it to at least show me what I’ve completed!

Good idea, would be especially useful for things like Monthly Puzzle Jumper. Say you do a few puzzles at a time, not all 12 at once. By the end of the month it’s hard to remember which ones you have and haven’t done. Or dungeon paths, how would you know which ones you still need to beat.

I’m also close to having Krytan Explorer but I have no idea on which of my characters. Most of them have quite a lot explored but it feels impossible for me to find out who has the most.

You can view hints by clicking on the question mark on you HUD in the top menu bar by the pvp tab. It shows you hints you have and dont have, the ones you have will have a checkmark on them.

But yes that’s a good idea, and just format it like the hints menu.

Agreed. The time for having to keep notes for computer games are long gone

Last time torch achievement. I had to take a paper to write down which torch race I already did. Shouldn’t be this way, Arena Net. Detail the achievements please.

We still need this…. example “mechanical chaos” I don’t know which maps I already defended. I don’t see it in my achievements. Should be in there.

Yup I have that and another area, I have no idea whatsoever whats missing.

It would be really good if I had some clue as to what’s missing.

We still need this. With the new DLC. I must write down all the maps where I gathered Obelisk Shards. Is it not visible where I was so far.

I agree with this 100%

For the hints achievement, there’s a hints button in the top left row of buttons that will show which hints you’ve activated and which you haven’t.

It’s not about the hints achievement. I wrote multiple times about what exactly it is. Read the thread.

Au contraire, mon frère….

Been There, Done That is already tracked for us by the in-game maps, complete with percent completion for each zone and lists showing number complete out of total number on map for POIs, Vistas, Renown Hearts and Waypoints. The only things missing are the little named areas that have no WP, POI, Heart or Vista in them- but these are usually easy enough to find by scrutinizing your map and looking for “kids with blunt crayons” markings tucked away in corners and edges. Once you “discover” these areas your BTDT achievement will update.

Each of the completed Dive Goggle locations should be tracked globally (in other words, not by zone but for the entire achievement), showing only the names of those completed, but not the names of those yet un-dived. This saves us from note-taking (or blindly duplicating) the completed ones while at the same time completely avoiding any spoilers. Because Dive Goggle locations are not uniquely named, they should be tracked by the name of the nearest POI, WP or Vista, like this: “Tree branch over pond SW of Snotpaw Welt WP.”
