Wintersday has barely begun and I’m already dreading the disappearance of the bell choir. As one of the most fun minigames I’ve encountered in an mmo, I would love to see this become a permanent activity, perhaps as an alternative to the more competitive ones we currently have.

Of course it wouldn’t be as special if it came more than once a year, so perhaps a seasonal rotation of songs, special holiday-only rewards, etc. would be called for.

I don’t know, sure it sounds like a good idea now, but so does eating a whole lot of sweets. In the end, you just feel nauseous and regret you wanted it all at once.

So I guess festive activities are best kept festive.

People who can argue often offer a good and meaningful conversation about the subject.
People who can’t tend to call the opponent troll, scream something utterly incomprehensible
and finally result to personal insults.

Don’t forget that GW1 did a Wintersday in July celebration, which means it’s likely you won’t have to wait a whole year again for this. We also don’t know if similar mechanics (the “rock band” gameplay) will end up in another city based mini game.

I absolutely love Bell Choir and I’m completely hooked, but I’m hoping maybe Uzolan’s Mechanical Orchestra might become a similar game, and even if it doesn’t, we’ll still have it back in a few months

A built in music making feature would be nice.

They should make a time machine! An instance when you can set back time to your liking. It’s a thought…

Like to pre-ascended items? Does the time machine work on players around me, too?

Indeed, I too would like to see it stay as a permanent mini game activity.

What about making Uzolan’s Mechanical Orchestra playable? (I can’t take credit for the idea—another player mentioned it to me in bell choir.)

I’d love it if the mechanical orchestra became a mult-player mini-game similar to bell choir. Different players could play different orchestral instruments to produce a short concert. Like bell choir, players could join, pick an instrument and play, and leave as wanted. Perhaps there could be rewards similar to those given for good organ music. The important difference from the existing organs is that this would be a multi-player concert, not a solo one.

I’ve really enjoyed meeting other musically-inclined folk in bell choir. I’d like to see this sense of musical community continue and grow in-game.

i second.

either uzolan’s mechorchestra or the bell choir or instruments usable with our town clothes (‘toy’ or ‘back’ slot) so we can make music with whoever is around; would be really fun

i wanted to make my heroine a little drummer girl for wintersday.

allowing us to ‘upgrade’ our minis with ‘wind-up’ features so we could release them and they would play a tune would be cool too (even have them play a tune we recorded with our instrument). although im sure it would turn into shear madness and we’d wonder why we did that to oursevles.
