It would be great if each commander could dye their icons a different color. It would make it so much easier to follow them if you could easily tell them apart on the map. Battlegrounds would then be able to set up color specific teams to follow their commanders around the map to complete objectives. It would also lessen the amount of confusion when you have multiple commander icons on a map.

Or perhaps you could turn it around and say, give each player the ability to color each commander icon to what they like. Afterall, they’re the ones who are going to be looking at it. Plus, I personally, wouldn’t like to be at the mercy of someone elses quite possibly horrible sense for coloring ^^.
