…So you don’t release buggy patches and then have to do another build a couple hours later. Not happy about having the daily reset when I was nearly done either. Sorry, I’m sure I’ll cool down in a bit, but seriously, get a freaking test server and have players test patches before you release it to the live servers so we can avoid crap like this.

Yep completely agree man. I almost posted here telling them to let me know when it’s working so I can do it because I’m not going to start it a second time only to have it reset again in the middle of it finishing. PTR would have taken care of that.

Yep, I had one more thing to salvage for “Recycler” and I would have been done. To add insult to injury, I normally sell everything at the TP but thought this would be a quick easy way to finish the daily so I wasted my money on a salvage kit.

Starting over = not cool.

gw1 had a whole bunch of people called the Test Krewe who would play on the test server. Where did that awesome idea go?

The daily reset at the daily reset time. Hardly surprising. The daily that you had almost finished was a bonus. Sorry that you didn’t get the bonus, but it’s not like you’re actually out a daily. Unless, of course, you were almost done with the daily from before the original 2/26 patch, then the patch hit, locking you out of it, then you barely missed the bonus one on 2/26’. That would be upsetting, I guess.

Oh look! Reset AGAIN! Seriously, Anet, get a test server. You obviously need one.

My daily never resets at that time of night I play at precisely the exact same time every night when I do login and I always do solely the daily. This had never happened before. What I experienced was they reset the daily suddenly just before i finished then there was two more resets after that that were planned. That’s not a normal time.

Was your play interrupted by the original patch? If so, I could see this being the case. Barring that, though, dailies always reset at 0000 GMT. I’m assuming if they never normally reset during your play, that the interrupt was caused by the patch itself.

Now, I do kinda agree that patches should not generate a “bonus” set of dailies. They didn’t do it for the monthlies, there’s no reason they should for dailies.
