Please add more aquatic content
I agree with you however, I honestly can’t think of any weapon diversity in underwater combat because there really isn’t any other than a spear, harpoon, and trident unless Arenanet gets creative and make up something like floating magical orbs that’s like a focus but takes up space like a 2h weapon? Idk.
A revamp to underwater combat would be awesome and also adding exclusive underwater skills, for example: a skill for mesmer that bends and blurrs the water around the user, causing confusion for those who enters the area.
Just random ideas, that’s all. But I don’t think there will be any MAJOR underwater content until we get an expansion on the hinted “DSD”.

Completely rebalance all classes’s underwater skills, under water battles currently are totally unbalanced. Where thiefs are partwise extremly strogn on land, do they suck totally under water.
Eles are in water as on later absolutely OP as like Mesmers also.
Rangers suck under water as like on land, same like thiefs.
Warriors are a bit op, but by far not as much as Eles/Mesmers under water
Guardians are ok
Engineers are op, but mostly only to their towers which give them under water an unfair high dps advantage, because there they seem to be alot more annoying, than on land
Necromancers are also op, they have udner water way too much cc and condition spam, so quickly can’t you cure the conditoons as fast as you receive new very high bleeding stacks and other conditions
the drowning system under water is BS, once ur downed under water, you are basically dead, unless you are not lucky and kill somethign while your drowning, but this ridiculous sonking and raisign skilsl make this nearly impossible, where you get played around under water like a ping pong ball by mesmers/eles
After that is fixed, then they need to implement for all classes specific Underwater Traits, so that all classes have their own separate traits for land battles as like for underwater battles.
Where none of the land traits work for underwater battles and vice versa.
I think you have ti wrong on which classes are strong underwater Orpheal, but I’m not gonna get into an argument about that. I would love to see whole exclusively underwater content (at release they talked about a whole continent’s worth of underwater content, which we have yet to see) so many underwater places are vast and deep, but there’s literally nothing down there.
Underwater combat itself is pretty fun, I enjoy it on most classes but true there are a few that are pretty weak underawater. I’m not going to start pointing them out because everyone has their own opinions on which are or aren’t. I know, too, that sooo many people despise the very idea of underwater combat, but I firmly believe it’s mostly due to people not taking the time to not only plan out their underwater utilities but just get comfortable with the weapon skills in general and get good rotations down.
While we do need better underwater elites, most traits can work fairly well above and below the water but having some water specific traits would be nice. As far as pvp goes, we do need finishers underwater and the devs already said they are trying to come up with a good system for that. Drowning skills on some classes aren’t too bad, but again that gets back to certain classes needing better underwater skills and I’m not going to divulge in that, plenty of troll threads out there for that.
And finally: we need new aqua breathers!!! Mine is so old it’s starting to grow mold in it, that’s a health and safety hazard :-P Better looking ones too (would love some craftable ones that look cool).
