embarrassed to be in a guild?
that sounds pretty bad.

It might be for RP reasons. If you’re in a guild with a non-RP name, you have to choose between displaying that tag and not being able to talk in guild chat.
The ideal solution would be to give every guild a unique channel, all of which could be activated at once.
If your representing you are gaining points for that guild. So hiding that your reping it to me seem well stupid.
Now on the guild chat i do agree guild needs a toggle so if i toggle guild chat on for a diffrent guild then the one im reping i should be able to talk to them in another chat box.
But alltogether guilds in gw2 are a broken mechanic. I can join a tine of diffrent guilds.
I can see makeing it so a player can join 2 and deciding whitch to rep bit any more no i dont like the idea and never will. Its ganna be so hard if they every decide to to avualy have guilds compete against each other.
