Guild Wars 2

It was such a great feature for further customization and color-coordination in guild wars 1, and it pains me that the dye system was made into something so great in gw2 but weapon dyeing disappeared. Will the return of the ability to dye weapons ever come?

It would also be cool if you could have dyes with effects, such as fire or frost applicable to weapons and armours.

I’d really like for something like this to be possible, like in gw1.

Some of the weapon handle/hilts just don’t match some of the color schemes I prefer. Like Sunrise for instance.. it has a golden hilt whereas sometimes I feel like dyeing my armor a more metallic/white or other colors that simple don’t match gold too well.

So being able to dye it some base colors like silver/abyss/and other primary colors would be a nice change.

While it would be nice, I don’t see this being implemented any time soon.
Though we can always cross our fingers and hope.

I agree too, it really ruins my style when my first set o weapons are white and the second red, i either have to dye my armor white or red…

I doubt it will ever be implemented..just look how they use old skins, change their colours to make “new” sets, like they did to TA weapons…
Also you get Glyph weaps dye them red and you get SE set, Mystic weaps, dye them red—> Magic! CoE set…
