Why is dueling not in the game. This seems completely ridiculous. If people want to test builds or hone their skills in 1v1 you have to jump into an empty server, which inevitably fills up with PUGs who spoil your duel. Madness.

They should definitely implement duels.
Two fast benefits from this will be fun and testing your build faster.
i would like to see duel system not only in the mists but also inside of pvE . Of course with an ignore/decline duels option.

Just to spare the community from verbally killing each other. Nothing like the harrassment that takes place (both ways) when you happen in on a dueling server.

I am going to have to say Nah on any dueling.

It will end up a death fest as the endless streams of thiefs fire up cracked copies of fraps to record themselves heartseeker there way to youtube fame. You know it and I know it, its all it will be. Bar the odd bunker build in which very little will happen.

I suppose something like WoW in which you choose who to duel would be cool though, just nothing more than that. Dueling exposes the huge class imbalance and we really dont need that so early into the Mesmer/Thief Wars 2 life cycle.

Yes please. We need a duel zone in LA and a duel zone in sPVP.

We also need people who can use the search function…

I, for one, want duel auto-decline.

But to everyone else I meant not open world dueling. More the ability to meet a friend in a city and challenge them to a duel. An offer which, of course, you can decline. As otherwise you’re right you’ll have a heartseeker gank fest which nobody wants.
