Seeing people say Kitten, is getting realy annoying and can be confusing, especialy when you don’t know why they just said Kitten instead of a filtered word.

Please change it. You don’t need to change it to [Expletive Deleted] but something that indicates the filter triggered would be nice. Heck, if you want to still say Kitten I wouldn’t mind as much if it was [Kitten]. (Using brackets to represent a word replaced.)

Don’t ruin our fun because you don’t like seeing kitten. I think it’s quite awesome, and it’s nice to see.

Actually, a lot of people, I think, type kitten in place of words that they know will be kittened (I know I do!). And people refer to stuff being “kittened”. It’s an in-joke now. The filter will hopefully be improved, because it’s far from perfect. Nevertheless, I’m sorry you find it annoying, because there’s little hope that the software will be changed. Anet plainly don’t want people cussing all over the boards. It’s their forum, that’s fair enough. The filter is rather clumsy at present though…

No thanks. When I know something I write is going to be censored, I just use kitten straight away. Sometimes doing that actually helps get the context across better than letting the auto-censor do it. And writing out [Expletive Deleted] is too much bother.

change it to [kitten]

I’m still confused as from where all this kitten thing is coming

when you write kitten, it gets changed to kitten. I hope that clears it up.
