As a roleplayer the /emote system is horrible, all the colors are the SAME, you cannot even click peoples names…

Instead of grey, the names of players should be in a different color then the emotes, and YOUR emotes should be a different color then other players.

The current system is horrible for emotes, some times we get stormed with so much grey we don’t know whats going on.

I’ve been singing that tune since Beta (and at least they GAVE us emotes .. the RP community had to talk quite a bit at them after the first BWE to explain the need for emotes and to have a limited range. Emote and Say started out as zone-wide).

The grey is of exactly the shade the eye most wants to ignore. One has to force oneself to concentrate on every line to even realize it’s there, let alone read it. I am pretty sure every other MMO I’ve played had some level of color customization for types of chat box output. It is sorely needed here.

I agree. The emote grey gets very hard to follow, especially when in a busy area that has multiple groups RP’ing or anything else. An adjustment to the shade of grey used would be great.

Yes, please. Right now it’s just one big wall of dark grey text on darker grey background.

I hope they add more emotes. Guild Wars 1 had quite a few, I was disappointed with the lack of them in this game. Heck they are low compared to any MMO.

Argh… the emote system hurts my eyes so much, please change it to different colors.
