I really love the GW franchise, but there is one thing I actually really miss from GW1.

Please watch this video below (it is from EQN multiclass panel discussion), and maybe just talk about about the value of such a system, and whether you can bring this kind of thing to GW2. It is something I really miss from GW1, and would love to see it brought back to the franchise.

(I cannot do time stamps. Part I’m talking about starts at 17 minutes and 21 seconds)

Everyone here in the community, feel free to watch the video too and discuss your thoughts on how the system spoken of makes you feel. What do you like/dislike about it, and what strengths/weaknesses do you feel it brings to a game?

Honestly, I don’t think that putting in any form of multi-profession at this point is an option.

Simply because it would totally absolutely and completely destroy any balance that we have in the game.

There are some things that just aren’t meant to happen. Things like Signet of Inspiration on a Warrior. Multiple signets with the same passive. Shout Warrior with Guardian Shouts. Greatsword Warrior with Guardian Greatsword Autoattack. Corrupt Boon and Epidemic on every condition spec in the game. Portal on every profession.

No. There was a reason why dual professions were dropped in the first place, and it was all down to balancing issues.
