Just tried to get my daily in the one hour leading up to the reset.

Had to hunt around for events to complete but could not find any.

And now have to do that all over again because of the daily reset.

They, ah, wouldn’t be dailies, then.

Wouldn’t that defeat the purpose of having daily accomplishments?

Wouldn’t that defeat the purpose of naming them ‘achievements’?

They need to change the time they reset. Right now they reset at 1am GMT which means for the US it resets depending on time zone from 5pm to 9pm. For almost all of us right in the middle of the time frame we are playing almost every day we can play. The logical time to do a reset is 8am GMT. Except for those +/- 8GMT or greater away. Which would put them in the same situation we are at in the US now with the reset. If it’s possible they could have the reset not be a universal time, but be the same time for each time zone. In other words reset at 5am no matter what time zone you are in.

Daily achievements are meant to give the casual player aka a player with less time of play in a day, the feeling of achieving something and not wasting time for 1000exp. Other than that, they are not a mandatory task. People who spend more time in a day playing, will achieve them easily without even noticing.

Tip for hunting events: check your map for contested waypoints, you can bet on it that there’s an event there.

Also, ride event chains. That way you can easily complete all five in one run.

If all else fails, if there’s no queue, cap a few points in WvW these count.

Or do story mode dungeon, these contain over 5 events each.
