I know it’s not a HUGE deal, but it’d be really nice if we can continue to keep our head piece hidden if we choose to keep it hidden ingame but on the character select screen as well.

I spend a lot of time custimizing my character and the thing I spend the most time deciding on is the hair and face (obviously). However, it’s a pain in the butt in the character select screen seeing our beautiful characters covered by some ugly helm despite us hiding it in-game.

I like to admire my characters sometime in character select when I’m not entirely sure which one I’m going to play, and the headpiece can really ruin it.

Just go to the part where it says for example:
Pick Human warrior and then skip to pick the Paludrons things and go back so you can see the hair/face now.
Since there is 2 headgears ad paludrons for warrior when you pick.

This happens to my Guardian and as well, and at first it bugged me. But really, it’s not worth getting frustrated over for me. I’d like the game to focus on some more pressing issues at the moment.

I would agree with this… I think it should display the last “in game” appearence of your characters. hidden pieces, pvp armor etc…let us see our characters the way we chose them to look in game.

Yeah, this is one of those little changes I’d like to see implemented. If I have it hidden on my character, it should remain hidden in character select. There’s usually a reason why I’m hiding it.

I was planning on asking for this, as well. As Blacklight said, if I’m hiding it in-game, it’s probably because I don’t like the way it looks on my character.

Yah, this bugs me, I’ll admit. For some characters more than others, but it’s always unwanted.

However… it’s a very minor thing. So, I’d say address it now only if it’d require minor effort to do so.

Otherwise, I can live with it. In extreme cases, I can just take off the offending pieces before logging out.

I expect this will be fixed eventually. If it’s just a matter of time, I can wait.

It sounds like someone is spending a bittt to much time admiring their characters… =P
All jokes aside…A few ideas in the interim should this not be implemented..(Not a bad idea btw)

1) oogle ‘admire’ them after being logged on.

1) Transmute that hideous helm, for something small and hardly noticeable. (I despise the ugly mushroom/hood looking hat for my ele…but there’s one that looks like incredibly small diamonds that are barely noticeable. Albeit the stats were worthless, but that’s what transmutations are for….
