Most of the “This is OP!” threads have zero basis in reality. They are usually L2P problems. Please do everyone a favor and just lock them immediately.

People are entitled to their beliefs, and are allowed to share them.

Likewise, other people are allowed to counter them, especially if it’s a L2P issue. Anybody who claims a thief is overpowered needs their head seeing to. I have played all classes, and the thief class is right up there with the elementalist in the squishy stakes – one mistake and you’re dead. Skill is essential when playing a thief as well as playing against one.

Many of these ZOMG OP! threads are a simple case of the thread starter not having a clue with regards to playing their own class rather than the opposing class being OP.

Opinions are OP. We should nerf them.

There are good builds and there are bad builds. Use the so called overpowered ones until they get nerfed. Most of the threads is made by people who is starting to learn pvp.

There is no “one mistake and you’re dead” for a thief. They have an abundant amount of stealth, easily one of the most useful resources in the game. “Oh, I kittened up. I guess I’ll disappear, get my health up or run away lol”. I do not have a problem with playing against thieves on any of my classes, but don’t try to undersell them.

And please, let’s turn this into another argument about classes. No seriously, let’s.

Little do you know thieves do have a “one mistake and you’re dead” and stealth balances it out.
