We were in dungeon on last boss and one of the people went to leave. we thought np we will replace them. They leave and BAM were all outside.

We need a warning for people leaving a party to say that they are the leader and that everyone will be booted if you leave.

Seriously stupid. I know it was designed to stop people from kicking but this just wasted 3 hours of our time

I agree this should be changed somehow, happened to me as well.

i don’t even know if there is a tool to show who is the party leader

Currently the only indicator of that would be the character that appears during cinematics.

I agree as well, I think there needs to be some sort of tag next to the party leader’s name.

A leader indicator won’t fix the issue, it doesn’t really matter who the leader is anyway because everyone and invite more people to the group. What needs to be done is when the leader leaves another member needs to be assigned as leader without the instance resetting.

Both things need to be done – leader indicator and automatic assignment of a new one.

or that instead of having the group placed under a party “leader” that the group is it’s own entity and as long as the group is together and as long as one person stays in the zone of the dungeon that the instance stays open.

that way even if say the “party leader” wanted to respec mid instance he/she is able to do so.

The party leader should just be replaced by the second person to join the party when he/she leaves (handing over the instance ownership), with the exception of personal story instances where it is transfered only if someone else in the party needs that storystep (if the leader left and nobody else needs the storystep it is no problem if all gets kicked out).
