Hey, ive been posting this on the german board allready and also on reddit and gw2guru.

But people tell me that this might be the best way to reach a dev member, maybe even an artist of ANet.

First of all, im german. Sry if there are alot of mistakes.

Due to laughs and taunts i’ve earned and the fact that the legendary focus skin blows, I really try to reach someone of ANet on this way, since there was no reaction on a thread i wrote in the offical board.

There are awesome melee legendary weapons with really amazing effects, like footprints, a shiny veil or at least stunning slash effects or looks.

The focus blows and it makes me really sad that ive spend so much time and affort for that creepy item. The Anomalie is even much more a legendary weapon like.

In this video you guys say: “[…] they look a whole lot cooler [then useall exotic weapons] […] if you see someone using a legendary, you gonna know it immediately. "

To be honest, not even one player that doesnt know me, ever saw my legen.

Why not give items these effects with system? Like for example:

Off-hand Weapons: Footprints
1h weapons: Veil(shiny)/ lightning, glow, whatever… / slash effects
2h weapons: all effects

Not sure, but i guess there wont be anyone not lucky with that.

Well, i really like the game, but if i had a choice now, i had NEVER put about 300 hours of my life in such a boring focus.

It’s funny how in that second video you posted we hear: “a lot of these components won’t be available from other players but you will have to get them yourself”, that’s sooooo untrue as 99% of the Legendary crafting process can be done by bots, they aren’t a super achievement as they should be, they are only made through extreme grinding and a lot of luck, there is nothing “legendary” about acquiring them and absolutely no knowledge of the game or player skill is required (unless finding the farming spots is considered “skill” by Anet)

Now on topic I totally agree with you, the focus DOES look extremely lacking compared to other legendaries. Yeah Anomalie should’ve been a legendary, it looks far superior, maybe someone confused the two skins, I don’t know!

I’ve said it before, and I say it again: there inconsistency between the Legendaries is sooo bad it isn’t even funny.

Some are totally awesome, some are just totally lackluster (like your Focus there) and some are just unfunny “joke” weapons that are a slap in the face for anyone who spent the time getting them (I’m looking at you, disco ball mace).

Got an answer from the german support today, that told me to get more people on my side. Well.. would be nice if i could get some more help.
