Last night I got a good look at how no trinity doesn’t work. The whole point of what arena net said in the beginning is any group can go into a dungeon to get it done.. last night I went into CM explore and was rescuing the butler. We had 2 light armor and 3 medium, yeah Ive never died so many times in an instance before since we had no heavy armor. It had nothing to do with not playing your class… when you get into a room near the end you have 2 groups in front of it looks like 10 mobs, 2 being elite. (per group) When you pull 1 group you pull both. Also in the back theres 6 elite rangers, you pull 1 you get them all. In instances like this, I don’t see how a group of light armor people can get past that room at all. Because if you use arena nets theory, you should be able too.

If not then you go back to a “trinity” type groups looking for heavy armor people just to take the blunt force of the damage. This whole system doesnt look like its going to work. Either you have to have a trinity type or you need to please revamp the dungeons so its mechanics that let you move on not withstanding 6 elites vs 5 light armors…

A group did it with only 4 Elementalists and a Necromancer.

It isn’t that there is a lack of trinity, it is because your group suck. This game requires coordination.

5x Warrior, 5x Ranger, 4x Elementalist, 4x Engineer,
4x Necromancer, 3x Mesmer, 4x Guardian, 4x Thief, 4 Revenant
