Plz consider removing it from the mini map,while looking on the mini map i could not see the goal where to go because a few ppl had the blue commander icon blocking the view.
its real annoying to see that on our mini map if not in a group.

Well, it’s kind of goofy having multiple commanders in PvP.

It’s even more goofy that commanders show up in PvE at all.

Agreed! Please give us the option to turn off this annoying blue icon from our mini maps in PVE areas.

Not to mention that people could use it to scam newbies "Hey, I’m working for ANet! didn’t you know that ANet-GameMasters are called “COmmanders” ? Look atmy icon if you don’t beleive me".

For 100g I think having the icon appear on the map is a a fair exhange.

I am with you, why would we pay 100 Gold for something thats less worthy or if they remove things making it less worth 100 Gold, then they should start giving refunds.

For 100g, commanders are still worthless in PVE. Please keep PVP specific stuff in PVP.

From the moment I saw the first one in game and found out that it was 100g to get this my first thought was “great, I wonder how the game will look once everyone buys one of these”

You can buy gold with real money so being a commander means very little, the icon shows you have wasted 100g and will eventually cover maps. I can’t offer an alternative but I would ask for it to be reviewed or removed.

At least give us the OPTION to hide the icon from showing up on our maps, especially in PvE.

I would like to see it removed from the game. It promotes this trash zerg play that goes on now with lil defence and no micro managment.

Not to mention that the Commander title should be bought with WvW badges not gold, so you can’t get one farming or being good at TP. But they want to suck money from players…. sigh. “Look I’m a Commander and I have no idea what I’m doing. Shiny, shiny icon! Skritt likes shiny icon!”

I say leave the commander Icon. But, make other land mass Icons come out higher than them. i.e. waypoint icon comes out on top and the commander icon behind it.

Also, remove it from PvE. there is no reason for it to show up in PvE.

Make it a toggle. I’d like to know who’s advertising their commander status sometimes, but I don’t want it to be there all of the time.

Please disable it in PvE, it serves absolutely no purpose out of WvW and is actually a bit annoying to see multiple commander titles while in Orr.
