Reading the forum often find myself reading discontents and frustrations of similar kind and some more sensible players usually do not only complain, but also bring out good points about how to rectify them.

However, forum posts could hardly represent what MOST players really think and Anet may consider implementing a polling system in game. Like the BLTC windows, Guild windows and etc, Anet might add a poll system and allow players to pick their stance on controversial topics. For example, what bug should we prioritize our effort? or what do u want to see in the BLTC for gems? etc.

To manage this, I don’t think players should be able to add polls to it (to avoid flooding), instead, admin would add a few topic every week, or fortnight so as to collect more players opinion on various issues.

I can support this idea. It wouldn’t be the end-all on game updates, but would be a great resource to let the devs know what we feel is important to us.

Large groups of people tend to be terrible with suggestions and ideas beyond yes and no answers.

If Runescape taught me anything, it’s that the majority don’t know what the really want.
