Ever since i’ve played MMO’s for the last 10 years i have always made sure when it comes to xmas time i reward all my guildees, by giving them gifts. Small tokens of my appreciation for their loyalty and great company. Now over the years through a few games this has been challenging on how to distribute the items to over 250 members. It has always involved a lot of work. I was wondering if it is any way possible to create a “bag”(present) type item which i could put some trinkets in(i know we have player mails but the limit on repeating and sorting it all out is a lot of extra work). This present could be bought through guild influence or merits(or even cash/karma(too exploitable this way i think) it would have a 1 time open use and would only exist for 1 week(have a timer like siege in WvW(again to avoid any sort of exploit involving creating extra storage space)). I personally would love it if Anet was able to create something like this(not just for xmas but b’days and such). It’s nice to get stuff in the mail but everyone loves to get a present! the thrill of seeing whats inside when you open.

Just a thought or idea, if nothing comes of it i will still spend several hours over xmas making sure i put a smile on my guildees faces.

Message suppression will be a real bear for you on that one I hope you find a way.

You could perhaps use the guild bank. The downside is that people can see the whole stockpile. But you could tell each person to look at “2nd Tab, 3rd row, 5th slot” and that they can have what’s in that spot, Happy Wintersday!

I’d love them to have wrapping paper or gift boxing or something. It works with Scarlet’s gift … sort of.
