Yep it would be amazing if you could have a “target enemy player” key bind. I don’t want to constantly have to Target through a bunch of necromancer minions, Rangers spirits pets, thieves guild thieves, etc. I understand Mesmer’s can be immune for the sake of their class mechanic.
I’m not sure why they don’t implement this already.Oh and don’t forget the annoying rock dog summoned thing from the ogre rune why is that even still in the PVP game just clutters up the screen

Try to target the asura necro in his vanguard of minions.. thank god minion build is kitten.

priority targetting is already in.
did’ntcha know those ranger pets are deadly and you really should use your interupts and knockdowns on them!
if theres no ranger pets around the helpful targetting will atleast help you use your cooldowns on something else dangerous, like a rifle turret or a spirit weapon.
I think priority targeting would be a rely nice convenience, but it would rely screw Mesmers over lol. Maybe a way to personalize the scripting like target x class before x (thief>necro>warrior>ranger>ele>engineer>guard>mesmer), and just group Mesmer clones with the Mesmer class and prioritize them last.
No, it should work for all except mesmer clones. Mesmer clones were meant to distract you from the real target..I get that. AND they die in 2 secs…which is not the case with other classes. Ranger’s pets and turrets have like 10x the health of a mesmer clone.
Ranger’s pets SHOULD NOT be primary targets…if you take their health down, they INSTANTLY go back to the player and their health comes up soon after…and there’s no avoiding them because their AI is so much smarter than anything else. If they changed it so that if you kill a ranger pet, it dies until the ranger res’s, then that’s fine…but it’s not the case!
Same with Engi turrets…why in the world would I want to purposely target a turret??? I shouldn’t have to tab through 50 turrets before I find the Engi…and it’s very annoying to manually click target someone with swiftness if they are moving around in circles through a load of turrets…It’s ridiculous.
