Maybe an idea to throw us a legendary “profession questline” to get a nice looking legendary-profession based armorset ?

Yvilthi lvl 80 human Ranger
Yv Ilthi lvl 80 human Mesmer

I would propose instead of a questline Profession Armorers be stationed in cities the same way Trainers are and depending on which city or outpost you buy from the armor would look different . So for instance rangers might have Druid armor in The Grove and in Divinities Reach they would have Drake Scale

If they made some really long questline that included a variety of activities that would be pretty cool. Something like the questline to get the moa minipet in GW1.

That was a scavenger hunt all over the world to collect items and eventually a trip to the end of the Sorrow’s Furnace dungeon to hatch your moa egg.

You could even make it so that the questline gave an pre-legendary exotic with a special skin, and then for the legendary an optional follow up chain with more difficult tasks.

Just a correction You actually had to complete To Sorrows Furnace and get the quest Final Assault for the Iron Forgeman to spawn . I’d honestly just see them as high expense armor like Grotto or Citadel rather than a questline

Ugh. It’s hard enough to get the look I want when limited by armor category (want Archon hood on my charr soldier ;.;) without being further limited by profession.

Please no.
