How many times have you or seen any solo person ‘attempt’ to get the poi/wp at the far end of this perfect kill zone? This particular area might be ‘fine’ on high/full population servers, but on servers without decent populations or low populations this area is an absolute deathtrap and literally prevents progress. The reason, like I stated ~ it is a perfect kill zone.

Earth Elementals – Root : Risen Trebs Bomb you = dead If your lucky, you might get half way solo.

And its impossible to take out the mobs/trebs solo because there are simply too many, and by the time you’ve taken one one set, more respawn. Not to mention, the trebs on the other side of the stairs can also reach you. Honestly? Should be an achievement just to get to the other side of the Promenade.

I could run there with my eyes blindfolded on my warhorn build warrior.

Get condition removal + swiftness + vigor traits/weapons/skills and you can blast right through it.

Oh and you will need to dodge the catapult shots.

You’re not supposed to fight through it solo.

which i have all of those on my char, and no, you cannot solo dash through the promenade.

i did it, miraculously, i run from the right side of the stairs, it triggers just one catapult (wich i destroyed since fortunately i’m a ranger and can hit from very far), dodging every few steps whenever the endurance allowed me, spamming my fastest healing skill, and traps behind me so to slow mobs, cursing all of the gods in the game, whishing for perfect invisibility, tryed a lot, died even more, but eventually i made it. i was so mad just the thoughts of people running through there with ease still make my stomach hurts

This the way up to Arah? Extremely easy to go up solo. Or you can just kill everything along one of the sides. This is also fairly easy solo.

Im confused by this thread if truthful. Ive walked up there a bazillion times on my own. Its annoying aye but a deathtrap? Far from it.

i wish i can see you running so easily through there, just to know how you huber players do it!

edit: did you do it after the gates where open with the event? if not it should be really a pain, i still vividly remember it

Ya dont need to be a “huber” player. Just dont be a complete donut.

Yeah I’ve done this. You should only do it when the gates are open though since then enemies can’t follow you all the way and you can rest or whatever in peace by the gate

I did with my ranger.
Solo all the 3 Orr maps for my completion some 5 months ago, and I’m doing the same again with a warrior, specially because now adays I barely see anyone there, saw 2 peeps total today while completing Malachor Leap.

You just need to rethink your approach or ask for help in LA, amongst all of those campers, one or two might get up from their behinds and lend a hand.

I did it solo with my BERSERKER ELE. Yes, that seems impossible but a lot of condition removal and dodging helps.

I made that run a week ago on my newly level 80 Warrior and the wife was right behind me with her level 80 Guardian. It is possible. Tough but possible.

So, even though the end of “my story” “solo” quest is at the end of this thing. I have to get a group of baby sitters to walk me there… nice.

I went the other way, without having to go through that area. It’s much easier.

I’m confused, I normally casually dodge roll and dash through this area. Just one speed boost, one condition removal, and 2 dodges. Is it really that difficult?

I’ll make a video for you tonight. Everytime the Risen Priest is defending the gate I go there solo to meet up with the group to kill him.
