Guild Wars 2

Many times in the world of Tyria, I feel as though I am not safe enough, and as though the city of Lion’s Arch is dealing with increased crime rates and corruption among the guard. I feel as though a new Batman class would help me feel better in the cities. I have a rough outline of what this class might look like:

Armor:
-Light Armor that only has one skin set. (Preferably one that looks like Batman.)

Weapons:
-Hand-to-Hand Combat.
-Stealth.
-Free running.
-Crazy gadgets.
-Batarang (Not to be confused with Bangarang by Skrillex)
-The Fact that you are Batman.

Game Mechanics:
-Use your gadgets to climb to the tallest of buildings and glide down to start a whooping on your criminal scum enemy.
-Only the batman can reach points on the high buildings.
-You get a notification every time someone breaks the law in Lion’s Arch and have no other purpose in the game.

Skills:
-Smoke Powder.
-Grappling hook.
-Batarang.
-Glide.
-Electric Shock.

This is a joke for those of you who do not already know.

Lol. It will never happen. The mesmers will QQ too much that they won’t own jumping puzzles. Also, ground target effects will still hit you so what is the point of climbing or flying?

However, it would be nice to have a class that can go through all the invisible walls in the game. xD

I’m terribly sorry. Maybe I should stop bribing the guards quite so obvious. People are apparently starting to notice something is wrong.

On topic though, its a fun idea. Not sure if it fits the setting entirely, but I’m all for weird ideas. I like the idea of players having an alternate identity. I also like spy-gizmos. And I definitely want a smoke bomb item. I want to throw that thing down, and then disappear in a big puff of smoke. It wouldn’t have to work in pvp or wvw, but in towns and outposts that would be so much fun. POOF!

But would people actually play this class if they had to go through 79 levels of apprenticeship dressed as Robin?

Invader Jr.: “Why’s he portaling onto the wall, father?”

Invader: “Because we have to shoot him.”

Invader Jr.: “He didn’t mean no harm.”

Invader: “It’s because he’s the hero our Keep deserves but not the one it wants. So we’ll shoot him. Because he can take it. Because he’s not our hero. He’s a silent treb operator. A watchful scout. A dark Commander.”

Why stop there Soul.9345? I mean why not create a Judge class as well? We can have heavily armed Charr or Norn patrolling the streets sitting astride of mighty reptiles, perhaps with a large studded club in one hand, a Asura made heavy rifle in the other and if they see crime they can break heads and bust perps to cries of “that’s seventy years creep!” and “Skritt burglar, eh? We’ve been after you for a while now, meathead.” Yes, introduce Judges (this is also humor, as in the movie DREDD). This said, I feel Guild Wars 2 is fine as it is, but the cities do have guard and it would be nice to see them conducting arrests once in a while.
