Well, so far. We’ve been having the same issue when implementing new things. When WvW was first introduced is all went to butts cause the lag was in the neighborhood. Same with the dragon events and now the guild bounty. I will say now that I may not have any knowledge about coding and all their business but how come we do not have a public test realm/server? I see these “private test servers” of Arenanet’s updates and stuff but why do that? How can you guys really stress the game out to maximum capacity? I have no idea, but letting the community stress the game out and since it’s a public test server, a dev could see the faults of the entire dragon fight or anything that relates to mass-stressing that area in that server. this is my idea to fix that lag and future updates. Maybe if someting like this happened in the future, maybe it will reduce the lags and missed fights.
