Why hasn’t this been done yet?

I see a win/win senario for doing so. The prices will drop to a more reasonable level for the precursors if this happens. More to the point, the chests will actually have something worthwhile in them for a change.

This equals happy Anet and happy players. We just might start buying keys….

Pay2win, I like this idea.

But then again, you can already do this by buying gold and buy a precursor. But, people won’t listen to reason and then quit because they will see this as a pay2win. They won’t make the costumers happy that way.

Precursor and legendary have same stats as any other exotics in the game, its just a skin difference.

Unless they changed it legendaries are still marginally better (by marginal I mean the difference isn’t worth the investment from a numbers perspective).

That’s besides the point though, the precursors are indeed expensive…silly expensive.

I’d like to see some proof of that. I thought their stats were identical to Exotics.

There is no marginal difference at all.

Stats are EXACTLY the SAME as exotics (Or ascended now? kitten I have no idea anymore )

either way..legends have no stat increase from the item used to make them

Its never changed either its always been this way..Anet even stated that in their legendary article iirc
