PvE-GEAR LOCKER

One thing I’d like to see is a PvE-Gear Locker like the one we have in PvP. Maybe even make the original items not disappear post transmutation in order to keep them in our collection (you’ll still making money from the stones maybe even more because if you can keep the original items and have them all accessible in a Locker more transmutations will occur eventually).

This way there will be an additional thing to do in PvE.
There are tons of armours and weapons in GW2 and collecting them all would be a big (and time consuming) “carrot” for lots of “end game” players.

As it stands now, with the skins destroyed after transmutations and the limited storage space I see no reason to go get more than the couple of armours I really like.

I approve of this idea, because I like to swap my armor designs out a lot. Maybe if you could just put the armor skin in there for later to transmute at your leisure. Perhaps it could be put in your personal home instance, so you actually have a reason to go there outside story quests.

A gear locker would be pretty nice actually. Armour sets took up so much bank space in GW1 and a locker would help keep things tidy. That or an armour tab in the bank, like the one for minipets.

Being able to display them somewhere in your home instance would be great! Like displaying them in the GW1 HoM.

I really would like to see this too. I love collecting armour just for the skins so I can change things up a bit in the future. I have completely filled several bank tabs just with armour sets!

Great idea. I’d even like to see transmutation stones used to copy skins to the locker, so they can be used again later. If it’s character bound, there will still be a need to obtain those stones. Then if you want to actually use those skins on an armor piece, you would use another transmutation stone to copy the design over.

I hate the idea of leaving behind cool armor and weapons, even if I prefer the look of new ones. Chances are that later, I’ll prefer the previous one again, so I’d like to have them available. It would be just another collection avenue and far superior to clogging up our inventories with a dozen high end armor sets from various sources.

Fully agree with this. Would be really nice to be able to collect and swap skins without having to run dungeons again to get the original item back for transmuting.

I’ve heard discussions about Dungeon sets requiring grinding the said dungeons to get a full set. Well the current system actually discourages from gathering the sets resulting in players skipping dungeons altogether.

One thing i would add is make it like the HoM vender gear where once you unlock it there are unlimited copies of the appearance item you can claim.

That’s a good idea.

Plus even if you unlock all bank slots the space wont be enough to fit Armors and Weapons in it.

I’d love to be able to collect and keep all skins, even if I had to use gems to unlock this storage tabs for the PvE bank.

I always supposed their was one, now its seems there isnt? Thats stupid because where are you going to leave al your awesome armor sets? On your bank? No space their, oh wait i can buy space with gems -_-" = forcing to buy it for spending allot of time getting armors.

I was just thinking about this. I completely agree. I think it should be something you should work for though. Not something sold in the cash shop. I’m thinking something along the line of the FFXI Mannequin quest.

Love that idea! I had to sell/delete/salvage a lot of gear I would have wanted to keep for their skin, but I was running out of space to keep them. PvE locker would be brilliant.

I would really like to see this in game. Even something like, when you bind an item, you unlock the skin, however it requires a stone to add the skin.
