Hello

From what I’ve been reading in the forums I seen that a lot of people have been complaining how some classes are being nerfed and stuff. I was thinking if Anet can introduce a different skill mechanic to solve this problem. I’m not sure if I’m wording this correctly but bare with me here.

Before playing GW2 I used to play a game called Dragon Nest and they had something where you would do X amount of damage or skill buff would last X amount of time. For example I used a skill that prevented me from being knocked down for 40secs while in PvE but when you entered the PvP arena it would change to around 18 secs or so and you were able to toggle the stats of all the skills between PvE and PvP by mousing over them and scrolling back and forth.

If you get what I’m saying I think it would be a good idea for sPvP and WvW. This is so that for example if I made a mesmer to help out and do Jumping Puzzle’s in PvE maps I would have a 60secs. cool down on portal and when moving to sPvP and WvW it would jump to 90secs. This can also apply to other skills too that would other wise be nerfed because of balancing issues in the PvP worlds. I would say look into that system they have, It’s pretty cool what they did with that.

They have implemented PvP vs PvE skills.

Also most people complaining is the Mesmer players that were use to steam rolling 1v5. They needed a nerf in damage. I have a 80 mesmer and I kill things in PvE just as fast as I did before. In PvP i don’t rend people apart anymore but I am fine with that I agreed Mesmers needed a nerf
