I normally play a Necromancer and never use my minions outside of Spvp (Flesh Golem and at times Flesh Wurm excluded). I find in most dungeons, especially with bosses like Kholer and Subject Alpha, where it’s dodge or die, pets just die off, making minion builds useless.
My suggestion is, when the player dodge rolls, the pets also gain evasion. This would help the pets survive one-shot bosses. This would help, minion Necros, Ranger pets, Elementalist summoned minions, Guardian weapons. I do not think this should count for Mesmer clones, given their disposable nature and replacability.
I don’t think this would get over powered in WvW or sPvP because a player needs to use dodges at the right times to survive and if they waste a dodge trying to save their pets, then they themselves die faster.
