I’ve only leveled my Main to about level 40 and quickly got bored and just like many of us, hopped into the mists. I’ve got most of my characters decked with PvP armor and I hate logging in and seeing them in level 1 gear at the log-in screen – I know its for split seconds but its just a personal annoyance.

We should be able to toggle PvP armor on log-in screens. I’m pretty sure a lot of this games player-base just trolls about the mists so its kinda unfair we have to look at our characters in ugly level 1 armor. :<

I’d like this too, I’ve seen this suggested many times, whether they’ll implement it or not, who knows. They don’t seem to take on-board what most people suggest, we’ve been suggesting stuff in the beta phase and it still hasn’t made it in.
BLTC preview was suggested way back, so was this very suggestion, loads of stuff were, they’re real slow by the looks of it.

I mean as long as it doesn’t cause any bugs elsewhere in the game – I don’t see this having a huge issue on being implemented.

But then again I dont know squat about coding.

I would assume, that having a character that is logged out in the Mists will have it’s pvp armor on on char selection.

The problem is that your PvP armor is not considered real armor. Note it has no base stats. For better or worse the PvP armor is a 3rd tab you can only access in the mists that serves as balancing purposes by removing stats from the pvp equation.

Our real armor is literally always on, when you reset your appearance in the pvp armor preview menu it reverts directly to your pve set. Chances are that it is coded to recognize that set as your armor and everything else is just a temp skin.

While it might be possible to recode for that one thing, that is a lot of coding for something you see for all of a few seconds.
