PvP Map sizes
I agree, this is starting to be a real issue in SPvP.
Currently what is going on in most SPvP games is he who Zerg’s wins, which also is usually The larger the zerg the less skill that is required. Now In TPvP especially now that it is 5v5 you can Zerg but it will not be effective, and most TPvP Players don’t actually zerg anyhow.
I also feel that if Jon Peters and Jon Sharp took the existing Maps and just spread them out a lil more that the Zerg would still be used but not be the win all case behind 90% of Maps in SPvP.
Now hopefully with the release of the new Map that will incorporate a Capture the flag Secondary aspect into the game it will stop zergs. Although lets face it I expect to get Zergs in WvWvW, as it is a grand scale war against two other worlds where you are taking out Keeps and castles. A zerg is what you need to accomplish that, but in small scale skirmishes zergs are a viable source, but should not be the determining factor of wining the battle. Which as it stands now it is, I know for a fact that both Jon/ Peters, Sharp work hard at perfecting maps and adding in secondary objectives which are giving us the the different style of PvP that other games have, I am just asking for them to realize that because of the small aspect of the maps Zerg = Win and is ruining the aspect of even doing secondary objectives.
Would like to see something at least done about Map sizes vs. zergs
