hello guys its me Kenage now I love how they did the achievement rewards but there is one thing i do not like and that is the PvP reward Chests that come from the Achievement chests. i feel as its a more of a nuisance because I’m a PvE fan. and the Badges of Honor is good but now I’m hitting the fact that I am getting a lot of BoH that I really don’t kneed. what I’m Petitioning is maybe have a option to select a PvP or a PvE reward Chests like More Weapon skins maybe inside the main Achievement chest so here is the formula.

Achievement Chest> once open 2 choices come up PvP reward chest or PvE reward chest. you still get all the other boosters and itoms in the Achievement chest

PvP Reward chest> PvP armor Skins and Weapon skins.
PvE Reward chest> PvE armor skins and Weapon skins.

so Lets keep this Topic civilized and have ideas flowing to the community about this idea. so lets get this topic Karka rolling.

Edit: ok i have read up on posts from you guys and I’m sorry if it seems like i have confused some of you but you still get all the rewards like BoH, Zenith weapon skins, Radiant Mantle Skin, Hellfire Mantle Skin, boosters and WvW Blue prints, the percentage achevement gain. its just when it comes down to the PvP Reward chest inside the Achevement chest you have a choice of selecting eater PvP or PvE.

PVE skin set would either devalue really valuable skins or give you pointless green skins. PVP skins work under very heavy RNG and are not for sale, therefore finding them in achievement chests doesn’t influence anything.

Achievements can be earned in both PvP (structured & tourney) as well as WvW and PvE. The PvP reward chests are there because the achievement chests we’re getting every day aren’t to reward PvE players – but everyone.

By including WvW tokens, PvE stuff and PvP skins, you reward everyone for their achievement efforts. I am not signing this “petition” because these aren’t rewards for PvE players – but all players.

On top of that, even if they flat out removed the PvP reward chest from these achievement chests, you’re still getting a TON of stuff.

And this. There are plenty of feasible ways for PvE players to earn their skins (Dungeons, Mystic Forge, etc.).

The thing is, if there wasn’t a PvP chest at all, you wouldn’t be complaining.

So I have a solution. Rightclick the PvP Achievement Chest, and delete it. No longer a nuisance!

You already get skins every 1000 points that are useable in PvE and PvP.

Agreed Sonic. Too many people complaining about free stuff on the forums since these new rewards. Too many people demanding more free stuff when Anet was nice enough to give us free stuff to begin with :|

People who only play PvP get acievements too. If you are a PvE player just deposit the skins, chances are you won’t have them of you don’t PvP.

as a player who likes both i like the achievement rewards as they are and i don’t want to make choices about pve and pvp, so far we have both and you are asking for less, or either skins in pve that i don’t know what to do with and where to put. while the pvp has a nice locker i want to fill

Take your excess badges and buy siege with them. Take your newly acquired siege and sell it on the trading post. Go to the trading post to collect your gold and buy whatever you want.

Some of those blueprints came from the AP boxes. I took them, went straight the to TP and sold them. Easy money so I was happy.

It’s fine the way it is. I don’t really PvP, but I do like filling up the PvP locker. And I will enjoy wearing something other than the default PvP armor in the mini-games. If I get lucky with armor from the PvP chest, that is. =)

But you get PvE boosts and gold and items… You’re getting free stuff? I don’t see a problem.

Not everything is designed to make YOU happy. Get over the PvP items already. Maybe play PvP and use them? This is an MMO. There are tons of other people playing. Some might like having them there.

i play both PvE and PvP, so your auggestion would deem i miss out on one or the other. while currently, even though you don’t play PvP, you’re getting PvE rewarsd already in addition to pvP rewards. just deposit or delete them. sure you are not using them now, but one day, you may fall in love with PvP! and you’ll be extremely sad all the supposed gear you could have gotten is now lost. because you felt slightly inconvenienced. never say never is all. ; ))) i didn’t think i’d enjoy PvP when i first joined gw2. i frigging love it now.

i see where you’re comnig from to get PvE rewards, but tbh, you already do. if its skins that you want, ask any PURE PVP player and ask them how long it’ll take them to get the points to get a few Zenith weapons. : )) majority of AP weight comes from PvE, so you’re directly benefiting from that already.

and these rewards are SO huge, that i almost feel guilty taking them. it’s really nice what ANet’s been doing. really, really nice. we should be grateful and aprpeciative if anything. not saying you’re not, but just as a little reminder to bear in mind, for all of us. : )))
you are getting PvE rewards already. think about from the other end, if a PvP-er wants to get some new skins, they’ll have to PvE, since majority of APs come from PvE.

Currently you get rewards for both PvE and PvP. In a way, you get a choice, but get both options. If you don’t want one of those options, you can always delete it.

You get PvE chest as well – it’s the one PvP chest is in.

PvP achievement chests are useless. if you ever played some tournaments, you already have most of those skins.

Not signed because currently I get both PVE and PVP rewards while in your suggestion I’d only get half. I’m not stupid.

it’s awesome to get also PvP rewards. Why? Because we already get tons of gold and laurels (and even a bit of gems) to buy the best PvE-stuff anyway.
