Yes yes this topic has been here many times. Can we please get it already. A duel system to duel anywhere anytime with anyone in pve. Because i am fed up with going to spvp to 1v1 someone i know to have some low self esteem kid come in and ruin everything. Its been a year and im really disappointed there is no legit way to 1v1 or 5v5 in pve.

Im really starting to get a bad impression of anet here… Fixing bugs that dont even matter(weapon switch infinite channel skill bug which was only cosmetic) But bugs like rush doing circles around ppl or missing badly and bulls rush leaving you in front of target while rushing in place. Or the bipolar channel skills that stop the skill from going all the way.

Please anet do stuff that helps everyone to progress the game.

+1 for a place to duel in PVE

-1 for dueling just anywhere in PvE.

they said in an interview that they would like to add open world dueling at some point. Nothing really beyond that though, no time frame or anything.

that said, your thread will be moved to suggestions and merged with the amorphous blob that has become the original duel thread. This is assuming the duel haters don’t pile into the thread and and get it closed due to unhealthy discussion.

I can’t imagine how frustrating it must be to be against such a commonly requested feature.

No, I’m against duelling being requested as a needed open-world feature when it’s not. I have nothing against an arena-based duelling option as long as there’s a means to block duel spam.

i would hope you wouldn’t be against arena dueling….since it’s already in the game >_>
