Hi guys,
I think we should be able to change our race, maybe for Gems? I for one wouldn’t care if it meant loosing all personal story progress. Also the ability to change hairstyles and such?

Anet have already commented on this subject. The answer is no, they will not be implementaing this facility

Did they say WHY?

I don’t see why they couldn’t do it as an aesthetic change. Lots of people want it. Why deny it?

Change race?
No.

Change racial appearance yes.

I was just thinking about this and found your thread through the search function. Darn, they really said race change is definitely something that won’t be done?

I really regret rolling my Charr warrior now, nearly everything stretches or clips (including weapons), few heavy sets look good on them. I would have gladly paid to change him to a Norn, I really hope there’s an option in the future. I’ve got too much invested in my Charr to just reroll the same profession for looks.
