Guild Wars 2

When i first started Guild Wars, i chose a human. Its annoying when you get to level 60 or so on and you wish you were a different race. I think that we should be able to buy Race choice available at the gem store for 500 gems or more. Because many people regret choosing a race while they are halfway to level 80.

why? = because of ur personal story line i mean it just doesnt make any sense when u play norn till X-lvl and then u change race and get another story i also think it wil be hard to create a system like they also could reset storylines but not the lvls the player had gained just my thought although i would love to see it in the future

They’ve stated over and over it isn’t going to happen.

they stated that it wasn’t in plans, but they didn’t said they are never going to implement it… I think.
As for loretroublemakers, it easily fits as a quest for reborn. Your story is not race-based after some point after all. Or it could be only possible after you finish story.

You know what’s funny? Everyone seems to spew this same answer. As a programmer myself.. I will have you know, this is a very easy thing to accomplish. Not more than 2-3 days work, maybe a teensy bit more, depending on how they have everything set up.

You know what’s even funnier? Everyone also includes several Anet devs’ responses.

So… yeah. Not gonna happen.

There are problems with a race changer. Personal story, cultural armors, racial skills, etc. They are all solvable. Solving them will just take more work from ANET, which means they cost money. So if you want to get a race changer, convince ANET that there are enough people wanting a race change that the work on solving the race changer problems will be more profitable than working on something else.
