There should be an item in the Gem store that allows this

I know it might affect your personal story but after level about 50ish, all races goes on the same path anyway – you kill undead and dragon and happily ever after

So why not just put a level requirement as to when you can use the tool, this way it wont affect anything

Anet already said they wont do this MANY threads are about race change it won’t happen

Level 80:: ranger, warrior, necromancer,
thief, guardian, mesmer, and elementalist.
In that order. All geared.

Or perhaps make it so that one can only Race Change AFTER the story Quest is completed. … I have not seen any additions to the Story Quest once you kill Zhaitan.
