Guild Wars 2

Currently only 2 of the 5 races have access to a Racial Healing Skill.

Humans

• Prayer to Dwayna: Beseech Dwayna to restore your health.

Sylvari

• Healing Seed: Create a Healing Seed at targeted location which periodically gives nearby allies Regeneration

What I propose is to add a racial heal to the remaining 3 races.

Some ideas for them: (Norn and Asura inspired by GW1 Rank skills of the same name)

Asura

• Air of Superiority: Passive: Gain a random boon and heal a small amount of health whenever you kill an enemy. Active: Heal self.

Norn

• Feel no Pain: Gain Protection and Regeneration 5 seconds and heal self.

Charr

• Ideas Needed…. quite honestly I have no idea what would be a lore friendly heal for the Charr.
• Warband Rally: Chant: Heal self and allies in earshot

Any one have any ideas on these? Alternatives even? Reasons why this should or shouldn’t happen?

It would be cool if you had some call for charr like “For the iron legion!” or something into this direction.

Not to sure about a shout being directed towards any legion in particular… since the Charr Personal Story has you belonging to either Iron, Blood, or Ash Legion… and none of their other skills revolve around any particular legion.

I thought about maybe having their heal be a shout though… but what that shout would be has eluded me… and maybe something other than a shout might fit better.

Perhaps an AoE stun-breaker or condition removal… but not might…. that would render Battle Roar redundantly useless…

Stun break would be too powerful. Same with condition removal. Maybe 2 sec of regin then. Battle roar also gives fury , and might stacks. – shrug

I would just love a shout heal lol. Then my warrior would be complete! Buahahahaaaa!!!

I can see how stun break might be OP. But how would condition removal be OP? It could easily be single condition removal. Multi-condition removal might be a bit much though.

A shout heal may also be simply unfair since you’d be able to use it while stunned and it has no cast time. Unless they redefine it to something like the chants from GW1 I don’t see it coming in that form since the chants were more like a prolonged shout that can be interrupted, making it more “fair”.

I do agree that each race should have the same number of racial skills for each tier/category. It’s odd how they’re almost random.

It could have a long cooldown to counterbalance its instant cast…

Though making it a chant could work too… maybe call it “Warband Rally”

I kinda like that actually…
