Wasn’t insult enough to the people who worked so hard to get a Rainbow Phoenix in GW1 to morph it into a stupid blue jellyfish? Now you’ve given it a new model with a grossly misshapen head doesn’t even have smooth lines. I can’t believe that you done this to the most highly prized pet there was. I am sure your all standing around the monitor laughing your heads off at the joke you’ve played on all the devoted rangers of GW1 who did so much grind to get the Rainbow Phoenix. i don’t understand why you’ve made it so ugly and so worthless. Would it have been so difficult to leave it just like it was and bring it over? That’s my suggestion stop this hideous joke and simply give us our old Rainbow Phoenix. What is the harm in that?

The harm would be having a completely unique pet only available to GW1 players, which Anet doesn’t want to do. They only want cosmetic skins for GW1 players, not anything that would give an inherent advantage to them over other players who never played the original.

Unless it was just a reskinned Hawk or something as opposed to an actual unique pet. Never played GW1 so I can’t say how feasible that would be or if it would also be “an insult”. Though there’s already a reskinned HoM bird, so having 2 might be a bit much even if it was feasible.
