Simple request: please bring the rainbow phoenix back as a Hall of Monuments reward if you had it unlocked in Guild Wars.

Lore-wise, the phoenix is an immortal creature, and the original rainbow phoenix recognized the hero’s worth and housed itself in your Hall of Monuments. 250 years is a short time to the immortal, and I imagine such an honorable creature would hold on to some loyalty to your legacy, remaining there to assist your descendants (especially in such dire need against the might of the dragons).

Game-wise, two of Guild Wars’ elite pets are already available through the normal point-based legacy system (the black widow and the black moa), and a precedent has already been set for carry-over achievements with the God Walking Amongst Mere Mortals title.

The Rainbow Phoenix was by far my favorite achievement from the original Guild Wars, my favorite ranger pet, and I would be overjoyed to have her back with me in Guild Wars 2. It seems reasonable for such a long, moderately difficult, game-wide achievement to carry on in Guild Wars history.

And they have also stated that the individual responsible for the “anti-Cantha” thing is no longer working at NCSoft, and that nothing has been decided and Cantha is very possible to be featured in the future.

Mai Trin is from Cantha if I’m not mistaken? Maybe Sky Pirates is a lead in to an expansion close to the game’s anniversary

No more exclusive only for GW players. This game is going in be a year old soon. So all rewards from here on should be available for GW2 players.

I’m not say GW players shouldn’t get exclusive items. Just saying that Anet should not make new exclusive content for them.

Hall of Monuments still exists in GW2. So why not update it for GW2 players also.

I greatly agree. The Rainbow Phoenix was just such a big deal to go after achievements for me and I would just adore that it be added into GW2. It’s such a majestic thing. Maybe make it a Legendary pet that we can work for in GW and GW2? lol
