ok ok the title was a bit of a…..well it was ment to be funny, but I have been talking about all the posts across many bords with some friends of how people dont feel they are progressing because they hit 80 and cant gain more levels, so heres my idea.

rather then totally stopping leveling at 80 just make it so you see each time you level, but gain nothing but what you do now, and your auto downscaled to 80, this would allow the “progression” junkies out there to fight over whos the farthest aheady “level” wise without in any way breaking the game, no uber gear since the only change would be to allow them to see how many times they have leveled past 80.

just an idea, I think it could help shut up some of the QQers who i have seen post on every gw2 related forum that turns up when you google….

People complain about level limit? In GW1 you could only go to level 20. I wanna know what else people did in GW1 all those years of being 20 lol. So I think 80 is a lot compared to that.

yeah, but, they tried to make gw2 more mainstream, without making it a slow leveler, and people complain ALOT about the “lack of progression” once you cap….dosnt bother me, but the spam of QQ’s about it gets old……i say just remove the counter cap and let them have at it(keep the real stat cap as is)
