Guild Wars 2

Hammers are the only weapon assigned to only two classes. Why are guild wars Engineers the only Engineers of all history incapable of using hammers? Give them one more option ;D

Also, you have whips in the game as a weapon but not assigned to any classes. They are very naturey and evil at the same time, so why not throw them to Rangers/Necros? Necros need one extra 2H option, especially a melee attack, and Rangers might not be short on weapons but it just feels right for the two beasty tamey guys to have whips. I guess since hammer went to a third class whips should too, but no idea what.

I thought I saw a separatist engineer using a hammer the other day, but I looked them up on the wiki and evidently I was mistaken. But yeah, a hammer seems like an obvious choice for an engineer, although a one-handed hammer (reskinned mace, maybe?) might be more appropriate.

I could see necros and rangers using whips, but I’d think whips would be one-handed weapons. Then the beasty tamey ranger could also use a chair!

Only Warriors and Rangers use longbows.
Only Thieves and Rangers use shortbows.
Only Guardians and Warriors use maces.
Only Warriors and Engineers use rifles.

I always found it odd the an engineer can’t use Fixer Upper.

Are you sure that engi’s in other dont just use a traditional hammer? As in the tool, not the weapon. Im certainly not going to fix something with a warhammer XD

I think engies using hammers would be awesome. Give the skills a forging/smithing theme, and I am all over that!.

After running into a mob using a whip just the other day I was thinking “heeeey, they should add that as a usable weapon to a few classes!”

Would be pretty cool!
