First of all, I want to thank everyone involved of making this game – i’m really enjoying myself and I love the game. I got 8 characters and I play almost daily, somedays it’s THE thing that makes me in the good mood. You are doing good job, thanks for the game. It’ noit perfect, but nothing is and mostly I’m really happy.
But to business: my friend just flipped. He just logged in with his elementalist and got the new achievement chest, and had a choise to choose one of those cool weapon skins. He had been drooling that rifle to his engineer, so he picked it up, and when putting it to storage he saw the text: Soulbound.
Oooooops.
Yeah, I know that some of you are now laughing their heads of. But I bet it stops to be funny if that ever happened to you.
Last few events/updates there has been very wierd brainfarts in accountboud-soulbound policies. So far only items you equip or get from story-events have been soulbound, and that has, you know, made sense. Weapon/armorskins from events, and stuff like that have been either free to sell, or incase of some rarities, accountbound. I find this good system. But now Zenith skins arer suddenly soulbound, and I do not find any sense from this at all. I don’t see how that fact that we could receive the skin with another character and then give it to another character in our account would break the game in anyway. These are account achievement-points after all, NOT character achievement points.
Similar item, though not as important, was the fireworks during dragonbash. I mean… Soulbound fireworks? Why? I undrestand tha accountbound, but soulbound? Firework-achiement was not tied to character in anyway, but was ACCOUNT achievement, so why souldbound that stuff? Please, could you check this in the future (though my poor friend who is raging now would love to use that rifle skin to to engi if it’s possible to make the item account bound). I acctually had not noted that before, I got to check whom I log in with next time I’m getting a skin.
Allso, very small request which woud make me super happy: When I have a soulbound item on storage, could there be text that whom that I item is soulbound to? ^^; I just had to go trough all my characters to figure out who owned one Letter of Recomendation.
Thank you for your time.
