Yup. RNG needs to go. I can accept it’s presence in the BLT chests but it shouldn’t exist in anything else. If you just want to have the Dragon Coffers drop a random amount of candy and fireworks sure. Put the weapon skins somewhere else where players can either earn them or purchase them.
I definitely agree with your suggestions on Dungeons. it would fix a lot of the issues with players just running the shorter dungeons over and over again. People might be willing to do the others if the reward reflected the time input.
The only way to stop this is to stop playing for a while.
I tried to make suggestions but not even a peep from A-Net what they are planning for the future in this game. Also some promise they made at the start of the game they never kept so far. Iam still swinging that sword or gun with autoattack. not fun.
My efforts has like zero influence in the world or town for that matter.
Living story has alot of boring archieves to do. dragon bash like eating candy etc.
After one time in the dungeon you mostly give up on doing another one. because you dont get anything out of the dungeon. so after you made it once there isno or little motivation to go back. this really has to change.
Well a direct response from anet is rare for the obvious reason. There are a TON of people asking for a response. No company has the time or resources to answer every forum post individually.
F&F was good because by doing the dungeon, it led to a skin. You may not of liked the skin but you knew you were getting it. In Dragon bash, it’s the same although many of the achievements are a chore rather than an activity. Sky pirates achievements don’t promote healthy team play and reward you with a mini which, some may like but as the ONLY reward isn’t fair.
I’m positive it takes time to make these dungeons and all that effort leading to 1 mini is just a waste of time tbh. The thing that made me fall in joy with Guild wars title is how skins is the reward. I don’t have to grind for weeks/months to get some small stat bonus so people can accept me as “good”, I’m good because of my experience so skin rewards are awesome. Getting these skins just seem poorly done however, I shouldn’t have to focus on buying (I farmed over 500, unless you primarily farm chests you arn’t going to get much, plus the chests are cheap to purchase) an item that has a small chance of having what I want. I shouldn’t have to rely only on rng for something rewarding, period.

maybe they shouldnt answer every question but answer the most answer the most common questions would be a start and what they have planned for this game is something a gamemaker should make time for or just quit making games.
Sotg tuesday July 2nd from my understanding. They do these to give a good chunk of info. They arn’t often but they help. MY issue however isn’t so much about content being released as much as teasing us with rng and nerfing rewards through dungeons.
