I recommend to content designers that they implement more radical zone design in the future. I expect that there will be future level 80 only zones, but you need to think, why will players go there?

My thinking is that future level 80 zones should have events that literally change the map. Towns and cities should be built by pushing into the zone, taken over, and completely changed by enemy forces. There should be consistent large scale events with consequences across the zone. There need to be rewards, both monetary and otherwise, for the zone to be relevant.

Be creative. You could make a barren and rusted zone that has portals that seamlessly take you to a vibrant past version of that zone where the terrain is altered for puzzle solving, jumping puzzles, meta events, and the like.

I will never play WvW until Map Completion there is removed.

seeing as how they cant even get current zones correct,i doubt they can get something that dynamic in place

most likely it will be like gw1 where the new zone,we can start a new toon or ferry out existing toon over and start the campaigns at a later place

I’m hoping they will be adding Flame Legion homelands and Crystal Desert to the game later. They could add dynamic weather such as sandstorms.

Yea, the zoomed out map is the most disappointing thing they have done. The GW1 map was looking so natural in zoomed out mode
