Redesign Orr.
IMO a lot of things could become much better once they add moving platforms in their engine. Imagine how the Honor the waves would looked a lot more like a ship and less like an typical building if it was moving, or imagine a new generation of jumping puzzles when the platforms are moving, or even better, imagine Zhaitan actually sitting on your ship in Arah and have the whole ship tillting from his weight, or when you are jumping to a bigger ship, having to phisically do it instead of showing a lame cutscene, or having to fight one of the future E-dragons by climbing on him, ect…
The possibilities are endless!

True. In other games we do this as well, so I don’t really see why they didn’t hear. There’s some cool mechanics in the game and I just hope they learned their lesson and come with more cool encounters.
I disagree.
Orr looks perfect IMO. I love exploring Orr and I love re-exploring it too. The magnificent large ruins and amount of details to building this zone is incredible. The problem is that you’re not looking into it.
The other areas look plain and boring. Just put random shrubs, trees, grass, buildings and color it bright green. Then. you have a zone that somehow impresses the mindless mass.
Other zones needs more redesigning than Orr.
4x Necromancer, 3x Mesmer, 4x Guardian, 4x Thief, 4 Revenant
I would just say add NPC’s that fight against the risen. this would balance the place when there are no players around, and make it more in-depth
+1
I especially like your first suggestion. It’s thematic and immersive, and I don’t think it’d take an incredible amount of effort to do. Possibly a lot of art resources though.

You mean that having 2 of the 3 assults in Malchor’s Leap go underwater resulting in all players going from the southern part works as intended? Or that it’s cool to have the final and most sirious area of the game smells like dead fish (by smell I mean “remind you off”)?
When I’ve heard of Orr for the firs time I was thinking of a bad kitten undead City, and instead it’s one of the most uncool/disgusting invaroments with nothing but ruins and Risen in it.
All other Zones fare much better than Orr. Some of them might have a few bugs or inconviniances, but at least they are all apealling to play at.

I think Orr is visually fine—it’s interesting to look at. The problem is it’s not DARK enough. When I walk through Orr, I feel like I’m in a halloween theme park. I SHOULD feel like I’m wandering horrific zombie wastelands, rank with death and fear. Halloween theme parks just don’t cut it.
I disagree.

I don’t see anyone at Dredgehaunt cliffs, Blazeridge steppes, Fields of ruin, Gendarran fields, Kessex Peaks, Caledon Forest, Brisban Wildlands, Fireheart rise, etc etc does that mean the map is working as intended?
I guess Arah is uncool and disgusting when you aren’t exploring it.
