relocate it out of WvW cause some players come here just to do jumping puzzle instead to defend or conquer objectives,and the players who want to come to battle cant because the Puzzlers take their spots

Disagree. If you want PvP rewards then PvP for it.

If you just want the achievement than get a couple of friends (preferably a mesmer) and have a go.

Because it’s part of the design. It can also be seen as a minor mechanic to help losing teams get back on their feet.

A person wanting to do the EB jumping puzzle enters but sees they don’t have a keep. Then they decide to either leave of help out long enough to take the keep. If they leave they open up a spot for another player. If they decide to help out that’s another player helping out, while the enemies still have a small portion of their team in the jumping puzzle.

It effectively causes the losing team to gain a small numbers advantage.

This could be a decent use for the orbs.

Capture the orb, bring it to a certain pedestal, and access is granted for your world.

Want to do the puzzle? Have a clean fight for it. Instead having dirty cowards popping siege on it or hiding behind stuff to gank PvE explorers.

It’s fine to have PvE stuff, but the focus in WvW should still be PvP combat, conquering and cooperation against the enemy. Not sneakiness and cowardly tactics.

Those jumping puzzle reward those “Badges of Honnor” so its a nice addiction to farm Badges if your server dont dominate WvW or u don’t wanna do something different while you w8 for the enemy to attack etc.Think those puzzles are exactly as they should be.

well to me it makes sense that a person who wants to join WvW wants to actual capture objectives and win first place,and those who want to do Puzzle should join some sort of a puzzle instance separate from WvW so those 166 persons that are in WvW are actual defending or conquering the map

Bah i just leave till one of the commanders in my guild report it is clear. To me it is a waste of effort to fight while all i want to do if JP.

Wait till your server crush the others , or at least the people in the JP and go for it.

If they could have them instanced but still WvW rules (so that they still had a potentially competitive aspect to them, as they’re designed to), that might be a compromise. I imagine they want them to stay as they are in terms of player dynamics, but if you can take the load off the main WvW player limits for people who are entirely within the puzzle areas that would probably be a good thing. This should be much easier to do for Obsidian than the others though.

sounds good,whoever enters a jumping puzzle is counted out of the WvW player load and a spot opens for another one who wants to join the WvW so we have 166 WvW focused players

When I needed to get the WvW jumping puzzles done, I would log in to WvW and see if we had control. If not, I stayed logged in but AFK and waited. Yes, I took up a spot on the team but I don’t care. I do not care about WvW, who wins or who loses, or what rank anyone or any server is. I just wanted to complete the map for the achievements.

I ended up transferring to a server that always dominated 100% of the WvW maps so I could get it done. Now I don’t go back.

Thinking about this now, there is one hitch to my earlier proposal; JPs are a legit source of free blueprints, and an instanced puzzle would throw a bit of a wrench into that by making a person who was going solely for the blueprints (as part of a larger “mission”) be forced into the queue on the way back. Not a huge issue, I imagine, it would just change the strategic dynamics a bit and anet may not want that.

wvw is a mix of pve and pvp. If you don’t want to see any dirty pve players do spvp instead.

the WvW jump puzzles should be an instance with in an instance. kinda like how the clock tower was done. As my own preferance, I do not have the paitence for any jumping puzzle, I do not like them and I feel they should not be in game at all. But a lot of people love them. So I think the jumping puzzles should be in a seperate instance that the only entrance would be on the WvW map. or better yet.

If you explore Lions Arch you will come to an area that has 5 non working asura gates. Infact there is a Point of Intrest marker there(Poi) why not open these gates for the WvW jump puzzles?
