Please remove free server transfers. The amount of people changing realms to turn the tides of WvWvW is ridiculous. People should have pride in their realm and want to win WvWvW instead of just swapping to whoever is winning.

Server transfer needs to cost gems. Not only does it make you guys more money but it means that us players can enjoy some fair WvW for once. Another alternative would be to offer only 1 free transfer every 6 months.The rankings will never be evenly matched and be fair if people can change realms whenever they feel like it.

This issue is ruining WvW and needs to be addressed ASAP.

You can’t change realms whenever you feel like it. Only once a week. Meaning once once before WvWvW resets.

I don’t understand how free transfers can effect WvW as much as people say, when I can’t even transfer to my guilds server =(

Maybe they can add wvw temporary player power penalties for server transfer-ers to reduce the impact from new transfer-ees…or bar them temporarily from any wvw winning benefits…or both lol

Players are already barred from WvW winning benefits after transfers. I believe for the next two WvW resets.

I see. Then add more impact reduction penalties then I suppose.

The most popular servers already have a ton of people in them. Some faction with a few hundreds people isn’t going to be able to transfer over in full manpower.

And besides, the transfers being free is a pretty big thing for the non-WvW folk. Someone I know transfered over from an NA server to a EU one just to play with me. If the transfer cost gems, she would not have been able to do that, since she was about level 30 at the time, with maybe a gold to her name.

You talk about “pride in your server”, but why that? What pride is there in some moniker that you might have picked for no real reason at all? I know my friend picked Aurora Glade because it sounds a bit like “Aura”, which relates to his in-game nickname. And me? I picked Aurora Glade because my friend was there. And you can bet a ton of money that there are cases where some guild, numbering in dozens or even hundreds, came from another game and chose a server for a similarly arbitrary reason.

My server is doing really well in WvW, but now we got this immigration flood from other servers. Along this shift we are getting these Loser Commanders from other servers that bringing their “F-game” tactics and zerging our server forces into the hole.

Nothing makes a wet pamper out of a server quite like “Tourists”…

isn’t there like restriction from that? like you can’t participate in wvwvw once you’ve changed the server
