Remove Rally from WvW.
Rally from downed state is tearing apart the WvW community? I want to smoke what you’re smoking cause that must be super powered stuff. The many hours I have WvW’d no one on TS or in map chat or in my guild has brought this up as an issue. Keep it in, I say. I’ve used it quite a few times… Infact, more than I can count.

Dude, I’m smoking some of the best stuff on the planet right now, and I’m not seeing the problem he is. Think you need hard chemicals to see those colours. If it were about Rally in pvp, I could see his point…

I agree it’s a stupid mechanic, the whole downed state is a poor mechanic and should be removed in WvW. The problem is that in any zerg on zerg fight there’s that 1 person either uplevelled, poorly specced or geared who goes down and when they die they potentially rally the entire enemy zerg. It puts too much of the onus on one person and creates a strain amongst players, especially new ones who should be encouraged to WvW not punished mercilessly for their failures once they try to. I can see the downed state mechanic being a fun way to troll people in sPvP but it makes no sense in WvW and pushes everyone into a cookie cutter bunker spec where they have to run in the largest zerg possible in order to win. It rules out the possibility of surviving a 1v2+ even if you’re correctly specced and geared because once you’ve killed someone you have to kill them again and that’s a pain in the kitten for anyone who doesn’t have “ways around” the downed state interrupt skill like a thief or mesmer.

There’s a limit on how many players can rally from one target in WvW, I believe it is 5. If that’s your whole enemy zerg, I envy your server.
