I know the black border is supposed to be stylish but really it’s just taking away from the full view of the game. (Ctrl + Shift + H) i believe hides the border but also everything else.

Me too, it’s not a lot but hit Ctrl+Shift+H and see how much better it is without it.

Keep it on the bottom of the screen and a portion of it on the top where the mini icons are, but other than that I want to see my pixels!

Would rather see an option to disable. I don’t mind it being there, but having an option for others to remove as wanted would be nice.

Sorry but… yeah. Nothing wrong with my monitor, and I get the border also.

I’ve never thought it to be a problem (and personally quite like it myself), but I can understand if it is for others. I second Nefaria’s idea of making its visibility outside of Ctrl+Shift+H an option rather than just getting rid.

I’d like the option to turn it off. I forget it’s there during regular play, but when I’m concentrating on looking at the scenery, I just find it annoying. Either way, it doesn’t add anything to the game for me.

I don’t notice it at all. I’m a little shocked that a handful of pixels around the edge of your vision is actually that distracting. I don’t see any reason why it shouldn’t be an option to remove it, though. I will say, though, that it should not be an option before the ability to customize the UI in general. If it were simply part of that customization, all the better.

I like this border! So, option to turn it off for those who don’t want to see it will be fine – some of people like black border.
