Seriously. It’s frustrating, boring and annoying. At least make it all PvP Kills, if you must insist on it. If I didn’t need the Mystic Coins for a Legendary, I wouldn’t even bother with this.

All you have to do is stick with a group and poke a downed player twice with a ranged weapon in order to get ‘credit’ for the kill.

PvP ain’t my thing for sure, but I go in and grind out my kills for the month then bail. I wish PvP wasn’t part of the monthly requirement, though.

It would be a fair trade-off if NPC Guards, Scouts, Yaks, and Patrols counted as “WvW Kills”. That way PvE-oriented people will be able to go to WvW and actually be helpful.

Then again, I don’t mind; I enjoy WvW a lot.

Have been in PvP like 4 times and have 79 kills – well over the 50 requirement for monthly. Its a good way of encouraging people to participate in more parts of the game. Only monthly thing I’m not completely happy with is experience survivor – since that tends to encourage artificial gameplay style that doesn’t translate well to playing with other people.

if you want the pvp requirement removed then I want the salvaging removed as well.
And since it’s really easy to get the 100k xp (just do one dungeon and you get 175k at the end) why not remove that as well?
Actually, just remove the whole monthly and gives us free loot every month, it’s easier that way.
